The Orange Garden Jewels Gerber Daisy is one of the newest perennial additions to the Southern Living Plant Collection! It produces brilliant orange flowers with an impressively long flowering period. They consistently rebloom from Spring through Fall. The foliage is true green and (surprisingly) evergreen! They form compact clumps that send up more and more flowers as they grow into your landscape. They reach about 12-16 inches tall and spread about 1-2 feet wide over time. Use them in a container, as a border, in a mass planting, or plant them in a mixed garden bed. These daisies are hardy from USDA Zones 7-10 and they grow well in Full Sun to Partial Sun. Plant them in rich garden soil and water them 2-3 times per week for the first growing season. These Gerber Daisies are well-rooted in 2.5-quart pots and will tend to be 5-8 inches tall with a wider spread when shipped. They are not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival (but the flowers will come soon, if not).
