No plant expresses the grace of the South better than the Gardenia. Hardy Daisy Gardenia produces extremely fragrant white single form flowers with yellow centers. This Gardenia can be planted in the landscape as an accent, specimen, medium hedge or foundation and should be planted close to walkways or outdoor living areas to enjoy its sweet aroma. When planting this Gardenia, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in Spring. Not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival.
